This notice describes the current ItemSizes website. The tools calculate results in your browser, and the site does not include accounts, analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or a contact submission form.
Calculator inputs
Screen sizes, room measurements, viewing distances, and other values you enter are used by the page to calculate a result. The current tools do not submit these values to a calculator service or save them in an account.
Some links include a selected size or distance in the page address. Those values can be included when you copy the link and may appear in your browser history or server request logs. Do not put personal or sensitive information in a page address.
Smart discovery search
When you type a need into smart discovery, your text is sent to our server and TypeSafe AI to select relevant items or planning tools. Please avoid personal information. Category buttons do not send search text. Search responses are cached in server memory for up to five minutes using a hash of the query; the application does not save a search history or log the query text. Temporary request counters help limit excessive use. Hosting and TypeSafe may process requests under their own policies. Read TypeSafe’s privacy policy.
Your saved unit preference
When you choose inches or centimeters, the site stores the setting in your browser’s local storage under itemsizes-unit. This lets the site remember your preference on later visits in the same browser. It is not an advertising identifier, and the site does not send this setting to an analytics service.
You can clear this preference by deleting ItemSizes site data in your browser settings. If your browser blocks storage, the tools still work, but the preference may not be remembered. The current site code does not set tracking cookies.
Fonts, images, video, and audio
The website serves its fonts and showroom media as local site assets. Loading the showroom does not embed a third-party video player. Your browser requests these files from the server serving ItemSizes, just as it requests the page itself.
Server requests and logs
A server receives information needed to deliver a page or asset, which can include an IP address, requested address, browser information, and request time. ItemSizes runs on a Hostinger VPS managed by the site operator through CloudPanel. Nginx maintains access and error logs for site requests. Access is restricted to authorized server administrators. A fixed retention period has not yet been established; we do not claim that IP addresses are never processed or stored.
External links
When you follow a link to a manufacturer or another reference website, that site handles the visit under its own privacy practices. Your browser may provide referral information according to its settings and the destination’s behavior.

Changes to this notice
Adding analytics, advertising, forms, accounts, or other services would change these practices. This notice must be reviewed when those features or production hosting settings change.
